CONSERVATION
A conservation project always starts with an understanding of the building’s context and environment.
We have a growing reputation for excellence in the restoration, reuse and re-ordering of historic buildings. Our project experience includes demolition and new-build, as well as conversion and refurbishment of Listed buildings, buildings of historic importance, heritage assets and non-designated heritage assets.
MASTERPLANNING
Masterplanning establishes a conceptual layout for a location that will inform its future growth, development and footprint.
We study the local influences of the built environment and utilise our specialist urban design skills to develop flexible design frameworks, which help our clients make vital decisions.
Our experience includes mixed-use development, residential and retail-led projects, commercial, industrial, retail and distribution, education, sports and leisure schemes.
LEISURE AND HOSPITALITY
A multi-purpose space that has to work hard.
We have designed numerous hotel schemes, from small budget hotels to larger scale premium hotels often encompassing active and passive recreation. We have also created high profile new hotel brands and beautiful, bespoke boutique hotels.
Our experience extends to larger leisure complexes including cinemas, bowling alleys and a number of bars and restaurants.
EDUCATION
The design of educational buildings is constantly evolving to complement new learning methods.
From new-build primary schools to the masterplanning of an entire campus, we have the capability to tackle projects from design to completion and remedial works.
